The country of Uganda is landlocked but beautiful country in Eastern Africa. Despite being landlocked, there are several massive water bodies within Uganda! Lake Victoria, Lake Albert, Lake Kyoga, and Lake Edward are the famous lakes of Uganda. Uganda is located on the East African plateau. The country is 900 meters above sea level.

Uganda is tropical in nature. However, the climate varies between different parts of the country. The place is famous for several offshore islands off Lake Victoria. The important cities of the country are located toward the south. The capital city of Kampala and Entebbe are two popular cities.

    Queen Elizabeth National Parks is one of the most popular savanna game parks in Uganda. Located in the western part of the country, Queen Elizabeth National Park is a world biosphere reserve protecting a wide range of flora and fauna. The diversity of the wildlife and ecosystems is a feast for the eyes. Once in the park, you can indulge in lots of amazing adventure activities; boat trips, game drives, or walks, lion tracking etc. Alternatively, for a leisurely holiday, you can simply enjoy the picturesque views. The ecosystems support a wide range of species.
  • Murchison Falls National Park
    The Murchison Falls National Park is one of the finest national parks to visit in Africa. Home to riparian forests, swamps, and broad Savannah, this is the best place to enjoy game viewing in Uganda. Traveling upstream to witness the Murchison Falls is one of the best experiences you can enjoy during your safari in Uganda.     This is the most visited of Uganda’s national parks, a favorite to travelers interested in gorilla trekking in Africa. The Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi has been granted world heritage status by the UNESCO. It is considered to be the safest place to view habituated gorillas of Africa. Also popular are chimpanzees and many bird species. Some of the activities that you can indulge in include guided gorilla treks. The tropical rain forests are home to thousands of bird and butterfly species.
