Western Africa

Benin seems to be quite a beautiful country that is located in the west of Africa. In fact Benin shares its borders with Togo, Nigeria, Niger and Faso Burkin.  One of the most famous attractions of Benin includes the royal Palaces of Abomey. This place is quite famous for its history and rich cultural heritage.  Traveling in Benin is all about exploration of the rich history and culture of the Western part of Africa.  In Fact some of the many other historical attractions in this place would include tombs, murals, buildings and what seem like sculptures. The Abomey palaces are now a part of the UNESCO world heritage site. Benin travel is also quite enjoyable and is quite fascinating as well.  When you come to the many historic sites, there are many other interesting places that you could see here. Some of these are the many valleys, the wilderness plains, and many other similar natural attractions.

Porto novo is also the capital of Benin and is also one of the most visited cities in the whole country.  The other important cities in Benin are Parakou, Djougou, Cotonu, Bochicon and Abomy-Calavi.

Abomey is a city which is very well known for its many palaces. Cotonou is also one of the most important port cities here in Benin.  There are popular tourist destinations and beach resort towns as well; Grand Popo is one such destination. This is quite the beach resort town and it is also a popular tourist destination.

This place happens to be a land of ethnic groups and cultures. The cultural variety that is available here in this country is just amazing.  This is one of the mina reasons why this place happens to be one of the most interesting places in the whole wide world.

Benin is a land with culture and many ethnic groups. The cultural variety of Benin makes the place it one of the most beautiful and interesting places on earth.  There are major ethnic groups here; some of them are Fon, Yoruba, Adja and Bariba.  In fact Benin travel also has quite a lot to offer.

There are a lot of tourists who come to Benin. The Savalou and Dassa Zoume provide a lot of opportunities for adventure sports. There are diverse landscapes that are ideal for hiking and trekking. Also this place happens to be the center of the whole Vodun culture.  In fact some of the biggest cultural attractions here include the annual pilgrimage. The traditional festival is the famous festival of Yams.  In fact Ganvie is quite Unique for being an entire village on stilts and this place is located right on the Lake Nokoue.
